How does BiliTool work?
BiliTool is designed to automate the 2022 AAP guidelines for management of hyperbilirubinemia. The proprietary data and software mimics manual plotting of bilirubin levels on the phototherapy and exchange transfusion graphs.
Can I use BiliTool with transcutaneous bilirubin?
TcB measures have been shown to have good correlation with TSB concentrations, generally falling within 3 mg/dL for TSB concentrations <15 mg/dL. The AAP recommends a TSB if the TcB exceeds or is within 3 mg/dL of the phototherapy treatment threshold or if the TcB is ≥15 mg/dL.
